Webbs Hotel

Built in the 1830s Webb’s House is the conversion and restoration of the former Webb’s Hotel. The listed building had been empty for over a decade and was falling into such a state of disrepair that it needed work urgently and compromises had to be made by both Developer and Conservation Officer to see that this project went ahead. Many of the existing windows were retained and refurbished along with the cornicing although inevitably some features didn’t survive. The completed project resulted in offices, apartments, houses and bistro created from the existing hotel, its outbuildings and new build in the rear courtyard.
